Battery & Performance

Does Driftlog drain my battery? We use Apple's CoreLocation 'Significant Change' and 'Visit' APIs, which are designed to be extremely power-efficient. Most users see less than 5% battery impact over a full day of driving.

Privacy & Data

Who can see my location? Only you. Your data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced to your private iCloud or Driftlog account with end-to-end encryption. We never sell your location data to third parties.

Offline Usage

What if I lose cell service? Driftlog is built for the wilderness. It records GPS coordinates locally without needing an internet connection. Once you reach a town with service, your maps and photos will sync automatically.
